ABOUT MOTHER EARTH

Mother Earth Network (M-e-net) is a trust registered in Kenya, the formation of which arose out of the strategies and experience of deferent religious groups in their efforts to participate in green programs. Care for creation has been an issue of concern for all Franciscans since the time of Francis himself; he is the chosen patron saint of creation. The trust was established as an issue based network, to coordinate collective advocacy for practical solutions to the problems affecting environment in Kenya.
Mother earth network is driven with a vision to make the world a greener place for the wellbeing and sustainability of people while its mission is to provide an international platform for collective advocacy, information sharing on forest conservation and environmental management by motivating people institutions religions to achieve sustainable green programs.
The Network is composed of civil society groups , corporate bodies, faith-based organizations, government agencies and institutions of learning involved in Environmental conservation and management to provide advocacy synergies, dialogue and information sharing on issues affecting environment in Kenya.
